Subject: Homeland Security Forum, Monday, September 12, 2005, 2:30 pm

U.S. Congressman Robert Menendez (D-NJ) will host a forum and panel discussion entitled “Four Years After Sept. 11: Are We Better Prepared?” in the Campus Center Atrium on Monday, September 12, 2005, at 2:30 p.m. Faculty, staff, and students are invited to attend.

The forum, organized and led by Congressman Menendez, will, in addition to Congressman Menendez, include U.S. Congressman Bennie Thompson (D-MS), the ranking Democratic member of the House Committee on Homeland Security. We will be represented on the panel by NJIT’s Provost, Priscilla Nelson, an expert on critical infrastructure, and NJIT’s Sr. Vice President for Research and Development, Donald Sebastian, who directs the university’s Homeland Security Technology Systems Center.
