Subject: Chinese Spring Festival Week
I am pleased to announce that Chinese Spring Festival Week is being celebrated at NJIT from January 23rd to January 29th. The festival begins with the lunar New Year’s Day, this year bringing in the year of the Dog. The Festival will culminate in a celebration in the Hazell Ballroom from 10:00am to 3:00pm on Sunday, January 29th. The Festival also marks the tenth anniversary of the Chinese Students and Scholars Association at NJIT, one of our largest and most active student organizations. Please take note of the decorations and displays of Chinese culture throughout our campus the week of the 23rd and join me in recognizing and appreciating our Chinese students and their many contributions to our institution.
