Re: Star Ledger Article on Health Commission

Many members of the NJIT community may have read the article that appeared in the Sunday Star Ledger with respect to the Governor's Commission on Health Science, Education and Training whose charge is it to examine and make recommendations concerning "the quality of medical and allied healthcare education within the State of New Jersey" (from Executive Order #14). The
article indicated that the commission may issue a report later in the fall that would recommend merger of UMDNJ and NJIT with Rutgers University.

 

I want to assure you that we are continuing to follow the work of the Commission, and we will keep you informed of developments as they emerge, particularly those that relate to New Jersey Institute of Technology.
