NJIT's Convocation Recognizes 2013 Top Performers: Professors, Staff, Students

NJIT will mark the start of the school year on Sept.18, 2013, with University Convocation, an annual celebration and awards ceremony.  The event recognizes the accomplishments of students, faculty and staff.

NJIT Expands With 11 New Faculty Members Starting Fall 2013

Eleven new faculty members will soon join NJIT to help realize the goals of the university’s strategic plan.  The men and women bring expertise in areas including architecture design, solar physics, biology, biostatistics, biomedical engineering and more.

NJIT Excellence and Research Medal awarded to Dr. Treena Livingston Arinzeh

The Board of Overseers of New Jersey Institute of Technology is proud to award Treena Livingston Arinzeh, NJIT professor of biomedical engineering and one of the nation’s leading regenerative medicine researchers, its sixth annual Excellence in Research Prize and Medal. Board of Overseers / NJIT Excellence in Service Award

Dr. Richard Sher and Dr. Gale Spak were both awarded the Board of Overseers / 2013 NJIT Excellence in Service Award at this year's University Convocation. Read more at Excellence in Service Award.

The Constance A. Murray Diversity Award

The 2013 Constance A. Murray Diversity Award was presented to Dr. Howard Kimmel at University Convocation on September 18, 2013. 

Undergraduate Research Showcase on Feb. 6

Inspiration, innovation and invention will be this year’s theme for the annual campus-wide undergraduate research showcase on Feb. 6, 2013 from 2-6 p.m.
