Thank you for registering for this year’s Homecoming festivities on Saturday, October 18th! We have an exciting day of events planned, and we can’t wait to share it with you. Below are some important details about the day:
Parking: We encourage guests to park in the Summit Street Garage Parking Deck | 154 Summit Street, Newark, NJ 07102. You will then follow signage to the Campus Center, where check-in will take place outdoors. If you require handicapped parking, please inform our office by October 17th so we can accommodate your request in a different parking lot.
Support Highlander HOUSE: All Homecoming guests are invited to participate in our service project to benefit NJIT’s Highlander HOUSE (Helping Others Use Supportive Essentials). In September 2024, the Food Pantry expanded and welcomed a new space to campus called the Career Closet. Together, these spaces are now known as Highlander HOUSE and directly support students in need.
We will offer the opportunity tomake a monetary contribution, near the Homecoming check-in area. Alternatively, we will also accept any non-perishable, non-expired food items, or lightly used jackets.
Attire: Get ready to show your Highlander pride at Homecoming! Think casual yet spirited—rock your favorite NJIT gear or sport NJIT colors to celebrate in style.
