Join us for an NJIT Alumni Tailgate as the Ohio State Buckeyes take on Penn State in one of the biggest college football matchups of the season. This is your chance to connect with fellow alumni and show your NJIT spirit right in the heart of Columbus.
We’re excited to be joined by NJIT President Teik Lim and his wife, Gina. Many of you may know that President Lim and First Lady Gina are alumni of the Ohio State University, and also Dr. Lim previously served as a research faculty at Ohio State. So, let’s give him a warm NJIT welcome in his old stomping grounds.

About Your Host
Vatsal Shah, Class of ’08, ’09, and ’14, is a proud NJIT alumnus who recently relocated to Columbus with his wife. He has served as President of the NJIT Alumni Association, an adjunct professor, and currently sits on the Honors College Board. He’s looking forward to bringing a little NJIT energy to his new home and hopes you’ll join him.
Note: This is a tailgate experience only. Admission does not include tickets to the actual game inside Ohio Stadium. Instead, we’ll have a special reserved section with TVs, seating, food, and beverages so you can watch the game and cheer alongside fellow Highlanders.
