Welcome to New Jersey Institute of Technology, Home of the Highlanders. We are excited to have you join our university community this coming semester.  In order to make your introduction to college life as successful and well rounded as possible, you will be participating in Connections Miniversity (CMV). CMV is a multi-faceted and interactive program created so that new students have the opportunity to get a head start on their future at NJIT.

During your stay, you will have a chance to talk with your academic advisor, take your picture for your official NJIT ID card, and receive your NJIT required software package.  In addition, you will have the chance to meet your future classmates, explore the college campus, find out about university clubs, organizations, programs and events, and sample life in one of the University’s residence halls.

Cluster Coordinators

Students each year compete to gain a position on the Connections Miniversity team.  The chosen 15-20 Cluster Coordinators act as your guides during your Connections experience.  They are here to answer questions about classes, campus life, living in the residence halls, making new friends, and almost anything you might want to know about your new home for your college experience.

We’ve picked top students who represent a variety of majors, hometowns, and undergraduate years.  They’re interested in getting to know you better and making sure that you’re ready to begin your successful academic career in the upcoming semester. Cluster Coordinators are easy to recognize by their bright smiles and Connections shirts.
