Christina Melo is a freshman majoring in International Business. She has lived in New York all of her life, graduating from Mamaroneck High School in 2008. Since joining the Connections Miniversity team he will has been helping to create student and coordinator skits for the summer program.

Why NJIT?

I like that NJIT is close to New York City and the urban atmosphere. I also chose NJIT because it has an Air Force ROTC program.

Why International Business?

I chose International Business because I want to travel the world for the rest of my life.

What do you like best at NJIT?

The best thing about NJIT is that it has many clubs and organizations. There’s always something to do around campus.

Why Connections Miniversity?

I think I’m a perfect fit for Connections Miniversity because I’m involved on campus and want the incoming freshman to have a connection to the great clubs and organizations we have here. I love networking, meeting new people, and just being friendly in general.

Greatest Accomplishment:

Graduating High School and then getting into NJIT.

To work for a company that pays for me to go around the world, while being in the U.S. Air Force.
