Hajere Gatollari
Hajere J. Gatollari is a BS in Biology major at NJIT. She has 3 older brothers, a lot of great friends and a good sense of humor.

Major/Graduation Year:

 Biology/2012

Hometown:

Lodi, NJ

Why NJIT?

NJIT was the best fit for my major and what I hope to accomplish later in life. It was the most logical option, and it was a choice that I’m really glad I made.

Why Biology?

I’m a Biology major because I love Bio, and want to become a neuroscientist.

What do you like best at NJIT?

My favorite aspect of NJIT has to be its overall geniality, its great walking around and spotting familiar faces at every turn.

Why Connections Miniversity?

I personally loved my experience at Miniversity when I was an incoming freshman and wanted to be a part of it so that I could help others feel the same way.

Clubs & Organizations:

Student Ambassador, member of the Honors Social Committee and Newsletter Committee, and graphic artist for ‘The Observer’

Greatest Accomplishment:

Being here at NJIT, its been a long road with a lot of twists and turns but I made it.

Career Goals:

I think I mentioned this earlier but I want to be a neuroscientist, and am looking forward to doing medical research.

Favorite Music:

I am open to a large array of genres. I’ll listen to just about anything once, but my favorite has to be rock. Preferably 80s.

Favorite Movie:

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.

Favorite Book:

It used to be ‘Picture of Dorain Gray’ by Oscar Wilde, but ‘Oh The Places You’ll Go’ by Dr. Seuss is a close second. I don’t care if its considered a children’s book, its message is deep.

Favorite Class:

I don’t want to get anyone upset with me but I do have an inclination to my Bio classes as well as Humanities.
