First Year Seminar
During your first semester at NJIT, you will take a course called First Year Seminar. This course is small (typically 17-20 students) and covers a variety of issues related to adjusting to the academic and social demands of college life in general and NJIT in particular.Some of the topics covered include:

- time management
- study skills
- interpersonal relationships
- wellness
- multicultural issues
- career decision making
