Science, Mathematics and Research for Transformation (SMART) Scholarship for Service Program
- STEM undergraduate and/or graduate student’s tuition and stipend paid in exchange for one-for-one employment at DoD laboratory
- 106 awarded in 2007, $22,000-$39,000 per year based on education level, full tuition and fees, health insurance, internship
- Eligibility: U.S. citizen who can hold security clearance, undergraduate, Masters, or PhD student in STEM fields, 18 years of age or older
