From exciting architectural plans for the August 2013 Chinese Solar Decathlon to a better hospital rating system, six student research projects recently captured the imagination of judges at the 2013 NJIT Dana Knox Student Research Showcase, held last week on April 17, 2013. Seventy-two graduate and undergraduate students participated.

NSF CAREER Award Workshop: Register Today

The NJIT Research Committee will host the NSF CAREER Award Workshop on April 3 from 11:30 – 2:30 p.m. in 112 Eberhart Hall. The objectives of the workshop are to provide an open forum for the newly hired faculty members to interact with the NSF CAREER awardees on campus and help them jump-start their CAREER proposal preparation and submission.

Jinisha Patel, of Springfield, a sophomore at the College of Computing Sciences at NJIT, recently attended a White House technology summit. Patel numbered among 12 college students chosen to attend by the National Center for Women & Information Technology (NCWIT), a group Patel has worked with since high school.
