The Department of Public Safety is dedicated to ensuring a safe working and learning environment for the university community.  Initiatives involved forming a staff of Community Police Officers, pictured above, assigned to specific areas including all Residence Halls and Greek Organizations.  The officers act as liaisons to the Department of Public Safety by offering assistance, providing guidance and fostering a climate of esprit de corps through open lines of communication and pro-active resolutions.  Together, we can maintain a safe campus for all.
