CDS is available to assist NJIT students and graduates with career planning and preparation virtually and on-campus.
The mission of Campus Wellness Services is to protect, promote and improve the overall health and well-being of the NJIT students, faculty, and staff members. The Center for Counseling and Psychological Services (C-CAPS) is staffed by psychologists and professional counselors who are here to help students with the transitions and stresses of college life as well as with more serious psychological problems or crises. NJIT students can visit the C-CAPS website or call 973-596-3414 to make an appointment.
The mission of the Office of the Dean of Students (DOS) is to create opportunities to engage and support students, both in and outside of the classroom, through general advisement, advocacy, special programs, problem-solving, and implementation of the Code of Student Conduct and policies under Title IX. DOS oversees Academic Integrity, Care Team, Community Standards, Student Support, and General Advisement.
Residence Life is dedicated to student learning inside and outside of the classroom by creating unique residential communities for NJIT students to call home. Office staff, Residence Coordinators, Resident Assistants & Desk Attendants work to make a difference in the lives of the students with whom they interact. The Office of Inclusive Excellence's mission is to create a culturally engaging community at New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) that promotes inclusion and belonging through educational, programmatic, and pedagogical practices. As a minority serving institution, NJIT’s Office of Inclusive Excellence vision is to foster an understanding and appreciation of globally diverse perspectives where we cultivate a culture of acceptance of and for everyone in an educational environment grounded in research and lived experiences.
The Office of Prevention and Advocacy promotes awareness on dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and other forms of interpersonal violence as well as campus and local resources.
The Office for Student Involvement & Leadership (OSIL) enhances the student experience at NJIT by providing opportunities for student-centered learning, personal and professional growth, and resources that foster an engaged and inclusive campus community. Through advisement, advocacy, annual programs and services, we empower our students to develop the skills necessary to be leaders in the workforce.
