More and more, NJIT students are choosing to live on campus in one of our five modern residence halls -- more than 1,400 students this year, including about half of the freshman class.

Each hall has a unique setup, and you can find out more on the Residential Life website.  However, each unit is air-conditioned and fully-furnished and comes with high-spped internet jacks, cable, and phone connectivity.

Besides the convenience of access to classes, the library, computer labs, activities, recreational centers, study groups and professors, living on-campus offers a host of other opportunities for students, like Living Learning Communities; easy access to NYC (20 min), NJPAC and adjoining colleges (adjacent to Rutgers-Newark, UMDNJ, and Essex County College); and the change for you to be independent, living on your own and making key decisions.

NJIT offers you a lot of choices:  Starbucks coffee at our coffeeshop; salad bar; Hershey's ice cream shop; Grab-and-go sandwiches; brick oven pizza; and more.
