Highlander H.O.U.S.E. (Helping Others Use Supportive Essentials)
No college student should have to worry about food, yet many still face this hardship. This calls for urgent attention and collective action to ensure every student has access to basic needs.
What is the Highlander H.O.U.S.E.?
In September 2024, the NJIT Food Pantry expanded with the Career Closet and reopened as the Highlander H.O.U.S.E. (Helping Others Use Supportive Essentials). This new space is a combined resource, offering essential support to the NJIT student community.
The Highlander H.O.U.S.E. provides two core services:

The Food Pantry: Offers accessible food resources, hygiene products, and daily essentials.

The Career Closet (New!): Provides professional clothing and accessories for interviews and career readiness.

How Can I Access Highlander H.O.U.S.E.?
Access is appointment-based only. We assemble your items in advance to ensure a quick and private visit.

Schedule Online: Book your time and select your needed items through PantrySoft.

Required for Visit: You must bring a valid physical NJIT ID.

First-Time Visitors: A one-time waiver must be completed before entry.

How Can I Help?
We accept non-perishable, unopened, and unexpired donations. Items can be directly donated to the NJIT Food Pantry during our hours of operations or to the Office for Student Involvement, 485 Campus Center.
If you cannot donate a food item, hygiene product, clothing or any essentials, then you are welcome to donate to our Food Pantry/Career Closet campaign here. All proceeds are used towards purchasing these items for our NJIT students in need.
