- Schedule an appointment for your visa interview. Contact the nearest American embassy or consulate to apply for your F-1 visa. The list of documents you need to bring to your interview varies from country to country, so check the embassy or consulate website for detailed information.
- Prepare for your visa interview. You should be ready to explain why you chose NJIT, what your objectives and goals are and what you plan to do after you earn your degree. Your interview will be conducted in English.
- Contact EducationUSA for additional support. If you would like to get additional support to help you prepare for your visa interview, contact the nearest Education USA office (educationusa.info) and schedule an appointment with a counselor.
