Welcome to NJIT! We are excited to welcome you to our campus and look forward to seeing you soon.
These are the next steps you will need to complete in order to secure your spot and have an easy transition:
Pay your $500 Non-Refundable Tuition Deposit (F-1 students only - You will need to create your UCID first!)
Incoming students must pay the USD $500 tuition deposit to confirm your spot at NJIT.
All incoming students must also complete the F1 International Student Essentials course in Canvas prior to arrival at NJIT and registration for coursework.
Click here to create your NJIT UCID and password.
F-1 and J-1 students only:
Incoming students must submit two medical forms directly to the NJIT Health Services Office: healthservices@njit.edu
Click here to download the forms.
Do not send these forms or other health information to the OGI. This information must be submitted directly to NJIT Health Services.
New Jersey State law mandates that Health and Immunization forms be submitted before you can register for classes. If you have any questions, please contact Health Services at +1 (973) 596-3621, or send fax to +1 (973) 596-0047. The Meningitis vaccine is required for all undergraduate, graduate, and transfer students who are new to NJIT and/or are new to University housing. If you plan to live on campus, you will not be allowed to move into, or have access to, on-campus housing if you have not submitted proof of all pre-entrance health requirements including the meningitis vaccine. All documents must be submitted to NJIT Health Services. Exceptions are given to students who are actively receiving vaccines that require spacing between doses and can demonstrate proof of a granted extension by either NJIT Health Services or the Dean of Students and Campus Life, or those approved for a medical or religious exemption by NJIT Health Services.
You are advised to have the required forms completed by your physician before you depart your home country, since the cost of a physical exam in the U.S. and immunizations are very expensive.
NJIT’s offer of admission is contingent upon satisfactory completion of any academic work in progress before you start your program here. It is your responsibility to ensure that your final official transcripts are forwarded to the Office of Admission as soon as your courses are completed.
Transfer students are required to submit a course-by-course WES evaluation for all academic work completed outside the U.S. Without the transcript evaluation students will not be allowed to register for classes.
