Leadership & programming
The NJIT Graduate Student Association is the student body recognized by the university representing our graduate students. GSA's mission is to represent the interests of all graduate students in university affairs. GSA maintains relationships with graduate students, our university administrators and officials. This close contact gives graduate students a voice at our university.
The opportunities to get involved and develop leadership skills are the "other side" to a college education. NJIT's Leading Edge leadership program is designed to help student leaders learn skills applicable to organization and team development. Leadership skills are essential not only in today’s college environment but they are exactly what employers are looking for when they hire for any position.
Students may be acepted into the Leading Edge program at any time and may complete it at their own pace. For more information, contact the Assistant Director for Leadership & Diversity Programs in the Campus Center.
NJIT's Lisa A. Pierce Center for Student Leadership is located in 495 Campus Center. Staff is available to assist all student organizations in planning leadership workshops and training for organization members.
