2025 NJ Brownfield Summit
The Future Is Beyond Bright(fields):
Climate Mitigation & Green Remediation on Brownfield Sites
Update: The 2025 NJ Brownfields Summit has been postponed.
Due to the federal pause on Notice of Funding Opportunities (NOFOs) and potential impacts of recent Executive Orders, we’ve decided to postpone the summit, originally scheduled for Wednesday, February 5, 2025.
Why the change?
Our mission is to provide the most relevant and actionable guidance to New Jersey’s municipalities and nonprofits. Rescheduling will ensure that attendees receive the latest information on funding opportunities and strategies for sustainable redevelopment.
We’re working to secure a new date and will share updates soon!

Exciting news for New Jersey communities! FEMA's Building Resilient Infrastructure and Communities (BRIC) and Flood Mitigation Assistance (FMA) grant opportunities for FY 2024 are now available. These grants can fund critical projects like structure elevation, stormwater pump stations, coastal resilience, and more.
To help municipalities and county officials navigate this opportunity, NJIT TARP is hosting a special Lunch and Learn session immediately following this year's summit! After this session there will be office hours where you can ask questions about your own projects!
