Program Details
Our Telecommunications master’s program is expected to enhance and enrich student skills and knowledge in a diverse set of communication technologies and sciences. The program offers students a wide scope of study and flexibility for specialization in a range of industry areas, including areas related to the protocol stack of data communications. Graduates will understand, manage, design and build communications systems for a diverse set of applications and needs of communications.
What You Will Learn:
Master’s students in NJIT’s Telecommunications program are prepared for diverse fields and will work as specialists in areas such as telephony, long-range communications, and data networks while gaining expertise in different disciplines related to telecommunications.
They should be able to:
- Demonstrate a broad technical expertise in communications, data networks, and other electives through successful coursework and achievement on exams and projects.
- Communicate research outcomes to the scientific community through oral presentations and written work, including your thesis and conference presentations.
- Function on multidisciplinary teams.
- Apply knowledge of science, technology, engineering and mathematics to identify, formulate and solve problems.
- Communicate effectively.
