The EOP Summer Academic Enrichment Program (SAEP) is a five week, fully residential experience designed to jumpstart your NJIT journey. You’ll take classes, build essential skills, and connect with your new community - all before the fall semester begins.
Residential Requirement
Absolutely No Commuting — No Exceptions
All students must live on campus Sunday–Thursday for the entire duration of the program.
Attendance Policy
Strictly Enforced
Missing 3+ consecutive days without an official doctor’s note results in dismissal.
No exceptions.
These expectations are communicated clearly before admission, and students are selected based on their ability to meet all program requirements.
What You’ll Do
Take first semester courses in your major
Attend NSO 1.0 with EOP (register only for NSO 2.0)
Strengthen math, writing, and study skills
Learn time management, financial literacy, and self advocacy
Build friendships and explore camps resources

Noncredit courses
Tutoring, study halls, and workshops
Social activities & community events
Weekly Schedule
Live on campus: Sunday - Thursday
Go home: Thursdays at 6 PM
Return: Sundays at 5 PM
Classes: Monday - Thursday, 8 AM–5 PM
