Forensic Science Education Conference
NJIT has the only forensic science undergraduate degree program in New Jersey. The partnership of our Center for Pre-College Programs and College of Science and Liberal Arts uniquely positions us to support forensic science education at the pre-college level.
In June 2022, NJIT co-sponsored a national Forensic Science Education Conference with the American Academy of Forensic Sciences to increase middle and high school teachers' knowledge of the forensic sciences and to assist them as they develop challenging, innovative curricula.
This summer, June 26-28, 2023, NJIT will host the inaugural New Jersey Forensic Science Education Conference on our campus. We have developed a new program that emphasizes hands-on, classroom-ready labs in Forensic Biology, Chemistry and Crime Scene Investigation. Each day features a lunchtime speaker. We hope you will join us!
If you will be teaching our introductory forensics course, FRSC 201, you may be eligible for financial support.
