Hello everyone! My name is Dayna, and I'm a junior chemical engineering student. I also am a Vice President for NJIT Green, was a PSEG ISS 2025 Green Teams participant, and I love to garden and hike. I currently serve as an RA in Cypress Hall and look forward to building more connections with Cypress residents while supporting sustainability initiatives as an EcoHighlander!

NJIT, representing Maple Hall. My passion for sustainability began during my Bachelor’s
in Education program, where I was deeply inspired by the United Nations Sustainable
Development Goals (UN SDGs) and presented on environmental sustainability at national
and international seminars. I’m excited to be an EcoHighlander, and look forward to

I’m passionate about bridging the gap between finance and environmental responsibility. My goal this year is to spark a shift right here in Laurel Hall, focusing on how small daily habits can lead to a massive collective impact. I’m especially interested in finding tech driven ways to reduce waste and making sustainable living accessible for every student.

Hey guys my name is Jeeyan and I’m a Computer Science major with a business minor. I’ve always been curious about sustainability and my journey started with gardening. I can’t wait to see what being an EcoHighlander has in store for me. Tara Magill is representing the Martinson/Honors residence hall in the EcoHighlanders program. She has been passionate about sustainability from a young age, and is now especially interested in combining her career as a mechanical engineer with sustainability. She is also working on implementing a program to redistribute food waste from NJIT's on-campus events.

My name is Sara, and I’m a freshman majoring in business. I have worked on a research focused on reducing toxins in styrofoam to prevent soil pollution by using styrofoam-consuming superworms. I live in the Honors Residence Hall, and I'm excited to work as part of a team to support sustainability initiatives across campus.
