Online Wind Power Management Certificate

The Wind Power Management Certificate will equip students with the skills necessary to manage, coordinate, and plan and direct activities for operating offshore wind plants. In this 12-credit program, courses are designed with a focus on wind plant economics and management in order to prepare students to effectively oversee the electricity transmission process from offshore wind farms to onshore facilities. Upon completion of this certificate, students will have learned a range of leadership and management skills in addition to the following skills:

• Utilize data science and machine learning for optimizing wind plant productivity.
• Learn U.S. energy laws, regulations, and policy issues.
• Gain experience in business operation strategy, project administration, business forecasting, and risk management in the framework of offshore wind farms.
