What do Urban Design majors do?

Urban Designers are agents of change, influencers of how infrastructure is designed, built, upgraded and managed around the globe. You will use new and emergent techniques, such as framework development, master planning, visioning, scenario planning and constituency analysis – and gain proficiency through application in design-based exercises in both local and global contexts. Projects range from designing discrete physical interventions to restructuring urban districts to reimagining mega-regions.
