OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS: If you have not done so already, please request an official transcript be sent directly from all previously attended colleges/universities to NJIT's Office of University Admissions (admissions@njit.edu). After official transcripts are received, a Transfer Credit Evaluation (TCE) can be be completed. A copy of the TCE will then be sent to students via email to confirm the number of transfer credits you will receive at NJIT. Note: A transcript is no longer official when opened by and/or emailed from a student.
Architecture Majors, Digital Design, Industrial Design, and Interior Design Majors:
- Advanced Placement Submission
- For art, architecture and design courses completed at your prior school, please use the following links to submit your course materials for credit and advanced placement evaluation. These courses must be evaluated separately by the HCAD department to ensure appropriate credit and placement in your major.
- Art+Design: Digital Design, Industrial Design, and Interior Design students
- Please use the Art+Design Credit Evaluation Form to organize and submit your prior course materials for transfer credit evaluation.
- Architecture: BS.Arch and B.Arch students
- Please use the Architecture Transfer Credit Application to submit your course materials for transfer credit evaluation.
- Art+Design: Digital Design, Industrial Design, and Interior Design students

You will hear from your HCAD advisor regarding next steps for the coming semester. Once you receive your preliminary credit and schedule options from your HCAD advisor, please sign-up to attend an upcoming Transfer Registration Event as listed below for additional registration assistance.
