PALs are the Peer Advisor Liaisons for the Office of Academic Advising, and they will assist with any questions students may have about NJIT and advising.

"I like how diverse the community at NJIT is. There are so many fields of study offered in each college at NJIT so we get to encounter all types of students. Another reason I like NJIT is because its community promotes friendship, leadership, and professional development that we can then have with us after graduation."

What I like about NJIT:
"I enjoy NJIT because this school helps students learn skills they can use in the real world. The people here are also from many different backgrounds, which makes it a friendly and interesting place! I met people from all over the world! Being in Newark means there are lots of chances to explore and grow outside of school, and NYC is only 20 mins away."

What I like about NJIT:
"NJIT's campus is small and compact, so moving from class to class is not a hassle. I would say it is relaxing, even. Additionally, the campus has plenty of areas to hang out with friends, or enjoy some time alone. Being surrounded by Newark city has its perks too: you get easy access to public transportation, groceries, and some conveniently placed fast-food restaurants."
