The 12 credit Graduate Certificate in Game Design and Interactivity comprises 4 courses for those who wish to gain the foundational skills and knowledge to enter the burgeoning digital arts and design fields. The courses are designed as online offerings and optimized to fit the schedules of busy working professionals or those wishing to train for a new and creative career in Game Design and Interactivity. Students in the Game Design and Interactivity Essentials Graduate Certificate Program will learn a wide range of leadership and management skills in addition to the following skills:
- Gain experience in the essentials of game design and interactivity such as the roots of analog and digital game play and interactivity, visual storytelling and storyboarding, and digital audio
- CG character modeling and animation, environment design, asset modeling and rendering
- Synthesize a creative portfolio to prepare for a career in game design and interactive media development
