Computer Engineering

Computer engineers, who possess substantial technical, quantitative and design skills, are valued for their unique understanding of the relationships between hardware and software. They are hired by major corporations and small companies alike in a range of industries, and may be involved with the design of computing and networking products or with solving the computing and networking problems of their employers. As developers, they are called upon to build computers, create computerized instrumentation, control systems and computer communications, and to develop computer networks for companies seeking to compete in national and international marketplaces.
