Computer engineers, who possess substantial technical, quantitative and design skills, are valued for their unique understanding of the relationships between hardware and software. They are hired by major corporations and small companies alike in a range of industries, and may be involved with the design of computing and networking products or with solving the computing and networking problems of their employers.
