Áine O’Dwyer, PE
CEO, Enovate Consulting

Áine O’Dwyer, PE is the Principal and CEO of Enovate Consulting, an Engineering and Construction Management Firm.  Starting the company in 2017, Áine leads Enovate in public and private sector CM/PM, and Engineering services.  They have worked on monumental projects such as the New Hudson Tunnel Project, Brooklyn and George Washington Bridges, JFK Redevelopment Project and the new Newark Airport Terminal projects.

Prior to Enovate, Áine worked for a large privately held infrastructure development and construction firm.  There, she worked her way from a Field Engineer to Vice President, running Engineering globally for the firm. She has worked on both national and multi-billion-dollar international development projects.

Áine is a licensed Professional Engineer in sixteen states and has earned numerous prestigious recognitions, including being named to the Involve Outstanding LGBTQ+ Role Model List for two consecutive years, receiving the Newark College of Engineering Outstanding Alumni Award, the NJIT GeNext Award, and being honored as part of the Engineering News Record (ENR) National 2018 Top 20 Under 40 and ENR New York 2018 Top 20 Under 40. She was also recognized in 2019 as one of NJBIZ’s Best 50 Women in Business and has received a Proclamation from the City of New York and a Citation of Merit from the Bronx Borough President for her achievements in Gaelic Football. Under Áine’s leadership, her company has been ranked on multiple Fortune lists for its outstanding company culture and earned the Great Place to Work certification for three consecutive years. The company has also received the NJBIZ Best Place to Work in NJ award and the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) DEI&B Pioneer of Belonging Award for its culture of diversity.

Hailing from her native Ireland, Áine graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from NJIT and a Master’s in Civil Engineering, also from NJIT. Whilst at NJIT, Áine played Division I basketball for 4 years and soccer for 2 years, actively involved in sports throughout all 5 of her years there. She sits on the Industry Advisory Board of the Civil Engineering Department and the Albert Dorman Honors College Board of Visitors at NJIT and also sits on the State Board of Directors with ACEC as a Metropolitan Representative and the NY Board of the Professional Women in Construction (PWC) organization.  Living in Montclair, NJ Áine remains active on several local initiatives and plays soccer and golf as well as hikes and snowboards in the winter months.

Wei Wang, Ph.D., P.E.,
Founder and CEO, UrbanTech

Wei Wang, Ph.D., P.E., is the founder and CEO of UrbanTech, with more than 30 years of experience in structural and construction engineering. He specializes in complex and movable bridges, large-scale infrastructure projects, and transit systems. Licensed as a Professional Engineer in multiple states, Dr. Wang is nationally recognized for his expertise in Accelerated Bridge Construction (ABC), innovative project delivery methods, and successful management of technically challenging projects.

Dr. Wang earned his undergraduate degree from Tongji University and his Ph.D. from the New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT), where he has served on the Board of Visitors and Industry Advisory Board. Deeply committed to civil engineering education, he actively mentors students, engages with academic communities, and advocates for the advancement of the discipline in higher education.

Through UrbanTech, Dr. Wang integrates technical excellence with visionary leadership, championing the use of emerging technologies to enhance construction practices. His contributions continue to shape the future of infrastructure delivery and inspire the next generation of civil engineers.

Bob Medina, ‘75

Bob Medina is a member of the Foundation Board of Directors. He is principal of Medina 43 Business Strategies LLC, a management consulting firm. After graduating from NJIT, he joined Goodkind & O’Dea, Inc. (now Dewberry) as Design Engineer. From 1977 to 1980, he served as Project Engineer at A.G. Lichtenstein & Associates (now TranSystems) and Project Manager at the RBA Group from 1980 to 1989. In 1989, he founded Medina Consultants, PC and grew the firm to be the third largest Hispanic-owned engineering firm in the US and an ENR top 500 firm. He later acquired Robinson Aerial Surveys, Inc., an aerial mapping and survey firm and Technical Associates, Inc., an MEP engineering firm. Medina Consulting offered the following services – general civil engineering and surveying, construction inspection and management, structural engineering for bridges and buildings, geotechnical engineering, and transportation and traffic engineering. In 2010, Medina Consultants merged with TY Lin International, an international engineering firm. He sold his interest in Robinson Aerial Survey and Technical Associates. Medina was appointed Senior Vice President and a member of the Board of TY Lin’s east district, overseeing business development and operations for five offices in New York City, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. He retired from TY Lin in 2014. Medina is a member of the Conservancy Council of the Nature Conservancy in New Jersey. He recently re-joined the Board of Directors of the Morris County Hispanic American Chamber of Commerce in 2022. He is a recipient of the following awards – New Jersey Transit Entrepreneur of the Year (2001), Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Businessman of the Year (2002), Morris County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Businessman of the Year (2004), US Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Region V Hispanic Businessman of the Year (2005), Latino Institute Empresario Award (2008), and Lifetime Achievement Award, Morris County Hispanic American Chamber of Commerce (12/2021). Medina received his B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from NJIT in 1975.

Terminal Construction

Founded in December 1945 by Richard N. Dinallo and Anthony M. Dinallo, Terminal Construction Corporation has been a cornerstone of New Jersey’s construction industry for over 80 years. A third-generation, family-owned business led by President & CEO Donald N.
