Shipment, Handling, or Transporting Dangerous Goods
National and International regulations require that any person offering, handling, or transporting Dangerous Goods by air must be trained on how to ship these materials and comply with applicable regulations. This includes lab personnel who ship chemical and/or biological shipments through FedEx and other courier services. Other training may be required to ship Hazardous Materials by ground (e.g., dry ice, lithium batteries, etc.). If you need to ship any of these materials, please read the information below and contact EHS prior to proceeding with any further action. Please note that in most cases, you may not need training to receive such shipments.
