New Oak Hall - Opening Fall 2027
The new Oak Hall will contain 453 beds in 154 units and is opening in August 2027.

Students will apply for 2027-2028 housing and participate in the Online Room Selection process in the spring 2027. Oak Hall will be available to select rooms during the room selection process. Keep an eye on our website for more information.
Beds are not permitted to be lofted.
You are not able to bring an additional fridge or microwave in your room.
Yes, each apartment has a dishwasher in the kitchen.
Sophomore through Graduate students are able to live in Oak Hall.
If you are a sophomore and live in Oak Hall, you will be required to select a meal plan, selecting from plans A-E.
You will be able to select your room during the room selection process. If you apply for housing after the process is completed we will assign single rooms based on availability.
You will be able to use your scholarship in Maple Hall. Be mindful of the type of room you select as this will determine if you need to pay out of pocket if your scholarship does not cover the full amount. Please check with the office offering you the scholarship as they may not cover the full amount of the room.
Yes, as long as you have gone through the approval process with the Office of Accessibility Resources and Services (OARS), oars@njit.edu.
College personnel shall not be required to provide care or food for any emotional support animal including, but not limited to, removing the animal during an emergency evacuation. Emergency personnel will determine whether to remove the animal and may not be held responsible for care, damage to, or loss of the animal.
