SAM Registration

Registering into the System for Award Management database SAM.Gov is required in order to do business with government agencies and/or prime contractors.
Detailed information will increase procurement opportunities and government payment for services rendered. However, be mindful that the marketing information that you include in your registration is publicly accessible and should be sanitized.
To participate in this workshop, you MUST:
- 1 Be an established (2+ Years) New Jersey based small business
- 2 Register for the class
- 3 Complete the SAM Registration Checklist (see attachment on this page)

- b Individuals with incomplete checklists will not be allowed to attend.
- 1 Tax ID Number
- 2 DUNS Number* (As a small business seeking to do business with the government, you do not have to pay for DUNS #)
- 3 All NAICS Codes relevant to your business*
- 4 FSC/PSC*
- 5 Bank Routing # (Business Account)
- 6 Bank Account # (Business Account)
- 7 Bank contact name, phone number, and email address
- 8 Business domain name (www.YourBusinessName.com)
- 9 Business email matching your business domain name(JohnDoe@CompanyName.com)
- 10 Short narrative describing business capability (50 words or less)
- 11 Key words describing your business
- 12 Ability to check and respond to business emails via phone
