The Office of Prevention and Advocacy promotes awareness on dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, and other forms of interpersonal violence as well as campus and local resources. Our programs aim not only to educate the NJIT community on these topics, but also to emphasize our shared responsibility in speaking out, modeling consent and safety, as well as uplifting all community members.
The office recognizes that students have the right to self-identify and may not align with terms such as "survivors" or "victims." The term “survivor” is used throughout the website however we welcome all experiences, forms of self-identification, and healing journeys.
