Faculty Affairs

On Friday, April 4, NJIT faculty and lecturers gathered in CKB 116 for another engaging session of Faculty Fridays, featuring a fireside-chat-style discussion with Dr. Kathy Naasz, Research Professor, and Dr. Cesar Bandera, Associate Professor, both from MTSM.

The conversation centered on how faculty can drive innovation and foster entrepreneurship in academic settings. Drawing from their own experiences, Drs. Naasz and Bandera shared valuable insights on transforming classroom knowledge into real-world ventures, encouraging participants to think beyond traditional boundaries.

With lunch provided and an inviting atmosphere, the event also served as a great opportunity for networking and community-building. New faculty members were especially welcomed and encouraged to connect.

 

Faculty Fridays take place on the first Friday of every month to promote collaboration and a sense of community among NJIT faculty and lecturers.
