On Friday, October 3rd, NJIT faculty and lecturers gathered in CKB 116. NJIT's Office of Faculty Affairs hosted a Faculty Fridays event focused on Faculty Mentoring. During the Faculty Fridays event, faculty members engaged in an interactive session focused on mentoring and professional growth. The discussion highlighted the importance of building meaningful mentor-mentee relationships, fostering collaboration across departments, and supporting new faculty in their academic and career development. Participants shared effective mentoring strategies, exchanged experiences, and explored ways to create a stronger culture of support within the university community.
Faculty Fridays take place on the first Friday of every month to promote collaboration and a sense of community among NJIT faculty and lecturers.
