On Friday, November 7th, NJIT faculty and lecturers gathered in Life Science Building, Room 102, for the latest Faculty Fridays event hosted by the Office of Faculty Affairs. This month's session, "Navigate the AI Revolution," focused on the transformative impact of artificial intelligence in research, teaching, and professional practice.
During the event, faculty participated in engaging discussions led by Dr. David Bader, Dr. Jessica Simon, and Ms. Manail Anis, who each explored different aspects of AI — from innovation in data science and effective classroom integration to responsible and ethical AI use.
The session provided an opportunity for faculty to exchange ideas, share experiences, and consider how AI can enhance their academic work and pedagogy. As with all Faculty Fridays, the event fostered collaboration, professional development, and a sense of community among NJIT faculty and lecturers.
Faculty Fridays take place on the first Friday of every month to promote collaboration and a sense of community among NJIT faculty and lecturers.
