Learning and Development Initiative
The Learning and Development Initiative (LDI) is the non-credit division of NJIT, providing skills-based learning and non-degree credentials through a dynamic portfolio of courses, custom training, and workforce development programs. Grounded in the LDI Workforce Readiness Model—which highlights six foundational skill domains: digital literacy, data literacy, AI literacy, agile thinking, change navigation, and resource optimization—LDI equips professionals, individuals, and organizations with the essential knowledge and skills needed to succeed in today’s volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (VUCA) environment. Future-focused, learner-centered, and demand-driven, LDI ensures its offerings remain relevant and impactful while offering flexible delivery online (asynchronous and synchronous), at client sites, and across NJIT’s campus facilities.
