In addition, we pride ourselves in creating an inclusive environment to celebrate the diversity of NJIT.

Each student has different learning styles and needs in the classroom, in meetings and during extra-curricular activities.  To that end, we support and appreciate your efforts in providing supplemental lecture handouts, organizing syllabi to ensure all information is clear and utilizing an all sensory approach for presentations. 

Please include a statement regarding receiving assistance from the Office of Accessibility Resources & Services (OARS) similar to the one below on each of your syllabi that states:

If you are in need of accommodations due to a disability please contact the Office of Accessibility Resources & Services (OARS) at OARS@NJIT.EDU, or visit us in Kupfrian Hall 201, to discuss your specific needs.  A Letter of Accommodation Eligibility from the OARS authorizing your accommodations will be required.
