Welcome to NJIT’s online billing and payment information system. In an effort to provide you with greater access and become eco-friendly, NJIT maintains an online system that enables all students to receive eStatements and make online payments by logging into MyNJIT secure website.

eStatement Benefits

  • Make payments 24/7
  • No more paper statements. Receive an email when a new billing statement is available.
  • Pay online or authorize other payers to pay on the student's behalf (parents, spouses, relatives, guardians, employers)
  • Pay with an electronic check (ACH) online or credit card (fee applies)

How to read my eStatement

Previous Statement Balance: All balances that existed on the student account prior to the eStatements coming into production. 

New Charge Activity: Charges that have been added or subtracted from your account since the last eStatement was issued.

New Payment Activity: Payments that may have been added or removed from your account since the last eStatement was issued.

Anticipated Credits: Funds that are anticipated to post to your student account but have not yet.  These may include:

  • Future payment plan installments

  • Financial Aid

Future Deposits: Money that is being held for use in future terms, and has not yet been released to the student account.

Total Statement Activity: 

  • Charges =  Previous Statement Balance + New Charge Activity

  • Credits = New Payment Activity + Anticipated Credits + Future Deposits

Previous Term Balances: Term balances prior to the current term

Current Term Balances: Balance due on the current term

Future Term Balances: Charges for terms in the future (is not reduced by Anticipated Credits or Anticipated Deposits)

Due Now*: (Previous term balances + Current Term balance) - Anticipated Credits for the Current term.

*Due Now is what is owed.  If a credit balance exists, the Due Now will default to $0.00, as nothing is owed.

Students log into the e-billing portal via  MyNJIT > UCID/PASSWORD > Student Service > My Bursar Account >Student Account and Payment Portal > CONTINUE,

Students will receive email notifications at their NJIT email address and alternate address when their newest statement is available to be viewed. Authorized payers will receive notifications at their specified email address. Students may log in and view existing eStatements at any time.

eStatements will be generated according to a set schedule. 18/19 Academic Year eStatement release schedule.

eStatements are snapshots of the account at a moment in time.  It records all the activity at the moment it is run.  If activity occurred after it runs, it will appear on the next statement.  Current Activity (real-time) can be found by clicking VIEW ACTIVITY  once logged into the payment portal.

Log into your MyNJIT account > Student Services > Financial Aid Requirements or Financial Aid Awards and review your account for any missing documents or requested information from the Financial Aid office that might be delaying your Financial Aid processing, as well please see this list of common reasons that might provide an explanation.  If you are still unable to make a determination about missing or incomplete Financial Aid contact the Financial Aid office.

The Bursar's office can respond to questions regarding the charges as they appear on your account, we will be unable to make the determination as to why or why not Financial Aid may or may not be appearing on your account.

This can occur if financial aid has been reduced or changed, a payment was returned from your bank for an error, or additional charges were added after you made your payment.
