Program Details

Our Telecommunications master’s program is expected to enhance and enrich student skills and knowledge in a diverse set of communication technologies and sciences. The program offers students a wide scope of study and flexibility for specialization in a range of industry areas, including areas related to the protocol stack of data communications. Graduates will understand, manage, design and build communications systems for a diverse set of applications and needs of communications.

What You Will Learn:

Master’s students in NJIT’s Telecommunications program are prepared for diverse fields and will work as specialists in areas such as telephony, long-range communications, and data networks while gaining expertise in different disciplines related to telecommunications.

They should be able to:

  • Demonstrate a broad technical expertise in communications, data networks, and other electives through successful coursework and achievement on exams and projects.
  • Communicate research outcomes to the scientific community through oral presentations and written work, including your thesis and conference presentations.
  • Function on multidisciplinary teams.
  • Apply knowledge of science, technology, engineering and mathematics to identify, formulate and solve problems.
  • Communicate effectively.

Program Details

The master’s program in Pharmaceutical Management aims to train graduates to solve the many challenges facing the pharmaceutical industry, ranging from the need to lower drug development costs, to optimizing manufacturing and distribution costs, to managing supply chains for branded, generic and over-the-counter (OTC) products. Graduates will design and build solutions which combine systems management knowledge and a knowledge of pharmaceutical industry methods and processes.

What You Will Learn:

The academic mission of the program is to enhance the skills of practicing professionals by providing advanced knowledge and skills that are needed to manage the development, manufacturing and distribution operations of pharmaceutical companies.

Specific learning outcomes include the ability to:

  • Apply knowledge of mathematics, science, and engineering to identify, formulate and solve problems.
  • Integrate, model, continuously improve, control, and if necessary, redesign and enterprise activities
  • Perform data analysis and optimization for enterprise decision-making.
  • Facilitate systems engineering and project management.
  • Function on multidisciplinary teams.
  • Understand and exhibit professional and ethical responsibility.
  • Communicate effectively.
  • Possess the broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental and societal context.
