Things To Know
ACADEMIC RESOURCES
Free tutoring is available in a large range of subjects and courses. If you have questions or are struggling, talk to an expert right away so you stay current with the course work.
Professor’s keep office hours so you can ask questions or talk one-to-one. Look at the syllabus for posted hours.
The Van Houten Library is more than a resource for that research project. Remember there are computers, study rooms, virtual access to resources, printers and librarians to help find resources and answer questions.
The Murray Center Ambassadors are a team of undergraduate students who facilitate study groups, help new students connect with their peers and provide ‘survival strategies’ for everything from common exams to social gatherings.
If you're still not sure ask the Office of Student Persistence at persist@njit.edu.
EXAMS
There are two different exam schedules – one schedule for common exams and one schedule for final exams. Be sure to check early and mark your calendar. If there are time conflicts, check the policy and resolve the issue early.
