To help alleviate parking concerns, NJIT University Operations has secured 100 additional parking spaces at Essex County College. These spaces are located in the Essex County College Parking Deck, as shown in the image above.
A Police or Public Safety Officer will be stationed at the Academy and Colden Street entrance (highlighted in blue on the map) until all 100 spaces are filled. In addition, the Essex County College Police Department will conduct periodic patrols of the parking deck to ensure safety.
Important: Please be certain that your NJIT hangtag is clearly visible while parked in the deck. Vehicles without proper identification may be subject to ticketing.

Hours of Operation: Monday through Thursday, 7:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Parking Area: Park on the top level of the parking deck only
