Parking for VentureLink Client Employees

The NJIT Science and Technology Park Garage (STPG) and surface lot 10, with approximately 1000 parking spaces, offers a secure and convenient parking structure open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Parking

Individuals that work in VentureLink who utilize NJIT parking (including STPG, lot 10 & Deck) will need to pay a parking fee to receive a parking permit.  The parking permit periods and fees coincide with university academic semesters and are summarized below:

Winter Break No fee
Spring  Semester $200 + tax
Summer Break No fee

 

NJIT (and NJII) faculty, staff and students should register and purchase their regular faculty, staff or student parking permits (even if they work in VentureLink).   

Parking fees are not refundable.

To register for VentureLink parking permit for the first time, the parking office will require your email address to enter you into our T2 Parking System.  Once you've been entered please follow the instructions below.

  • Go to the NJIT parking page at:  https://www.njit.edu/parking/
  • Click on the parking registration icon in the center of the page
  • Click on Get Permits
  • Click on Guest Login
  • Enter your email address & password.  Your default password is your last name, and you will be prompted to update it after
  • Sign in under Guest Login again with your email address & updated password
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to enter your information
  • You will be prompted to purchase your permit via credit card thru TouchNet, NJIT's secure, PCI-compliant payment processor
  • Upon payment you will receive an emailed receipt and your parking permit will be mailed
  • Your photo ID card will then be activated for the gates.  If you do not have a photo ID card, please come to the ID office at 131 Summit Street

Before the start of each semester, the NJIT parking services office will email currently registered VentureLink permit holders instructions to reapply for a new parking permit for the new semester.  Upon receipt, the parking office will assign and mail a parking permit, and activate photo ID card parking access.

During the Fall and Spring semesters, daily parking vouchers are available for advanced purchase at the NJIT bursar office (located at 393 MLK Blvd).  Valid NJIT photo ID card is required.  For more information on daily parking vouchers, please visit http://www5.njit.edu/parking/rules.php#dailyvouchers.

VentureLink companies will continue to be able to request complimentary daily visitor parking for guests through the VentureLink office by contacting Yvonne Drakes.  Faculty, staff, students and VentureLink employees are not eligible for this complimentary daily visitor parking.
