Review Highlander Pipeline and settle any outstanding balances or other holds.

Update Highlander Pipeline with local address and personal email address to receive up to date information about the commencement ceremony and diploma distribution.

International students: SEVIS regulation requires International student's permanent address to remain the one from the student's home country. This rule does not apply to the designation of local address.  If the student wishes to continue to receive communication from NJIT post graduation, please make sure the local address reflects the most current US address.  Please reach out to the Office of Global Initiatives with any questions regarding the SEVIS regulation.

Financial Aid

Complete loan exit counseling session if you received Financial Aid. Click Financial Aid for more details.

Diploma Verification Form

  • You will receive an email stating that your department has pre-certified you and the form is now available to you.

  • December potential candidates must complete the Diploma Verification form in Highlander Pipeline, available October 13th until December 15th. 

  • Highlander Pipeline: Campus Wide Services card then click on the Diploma Verification Form.

  • The deadline to complete the Diploma Verification Form is December 15, 2023.

Graduation Date

December 31, 2023

Official Graduation Date reflected on official transcripts.

Final Graduation Certification is the responsibility of each Academic Department and takes place within 4-6 weeks after the official graduation periods. Graduates will be notified when diplomas are available for pick up via their official NJIT email address; diplomas can be mailed upon request.


Diploma Distribution Information

  • Diplomas will be mailed directly to the graduate by Parchment. Student's will be emailed with instructions and information by February.


Grad Fair

NJIT Wellness and Events Center

May 2024

10am to 4:30pm

  • All participants can pick up the materials needed for the Commencement Ceremony, ie. caps, gowns, academic honor distinction medals, etc.
  • The Graduation Fair is for PhD students, graduate students, and undergraduate students.
